Swimmers are expected to attend this practice, even if they do not have pledges.  First and foremost, this is a team building event, as well as a fundraiser that helps raise money for the Parklawn Piranha Boosters. After the older swimmers have swum their session, they will be asked to help count laps for the younger groups. We encourage all of our swimmers and families to come out a cheer for the swimmers. This endurance event is an incredible accomplishment.

For swimmers legal in all four strokes. These clinics will focus on starts, breakouts, underwaters, and racing. There will be focus clinics for Individual Medley and transitions. You will have to sign up, spots are limited.

Our kick off team building/get to know one another fun activity. Kids compete hunger games style to decorate the best cake (by gender and age group) in limited time with supplies provided.  Swimmers just need to show up and be creative.

Sport Fair will be on deck with team suits, swim goggles, and other items for purchase. This is when you can get fitted and buy your team suit, pick up your team shirt, and any gear that your ordered from the team store or during registration. If you cannot make it to outfitting day, please have a friend pick up your gear.  You can always go to Sport Fair in Arlington to get properly fitted and buy a team suit, just let them know you are with Parklawn.
