Coach Kevin Sunday Technique Clinic

End: 10:00 AM

This technique clinic is for swimmers legal in all four strokes looking for additional work in a small group environment. Swimmers will work on starts, break-outs, turns, and IM transitions (to prepare for IM Carnival and Divisionals). If you sign up and your circumstances change, please remove yourself from the SUG so someone from the waitlist can join. There are no additional fees for this clinic, it is team funded.

Cake Decorating Wars

Exact time will be announced closer to the event.  This is our kick off team building event for our swimmers and divers.  This year there will be a new and exciting twist. Don't miss this get to know you event. Just bring your swimmer(s) and we supply the rest.  Swimmers will compete in their age/gender groups against one another. Our coaches judge the winners.

Swimmers are expected to attend this practice, even if they do not have pledges. First and foremost, this is a team building event, as well as a fundraiser that helps raise money for the Parklawn Piranha Boosters. After the older swimmers have swum their session, they will be asked to help count laps for the younger groups. We encourage all of our swimmers and families to come out a cheer for the swimmers. This endurance event is an incredible accomplishment.

Swim Team Picture Day

Swimmers are to wear their team suits and team shirts for picture day. Optional Individual/Sibling photos will be taken and the team photo. 

Individual and sibling photos are at 4:30 pm near the dive well.

All swimmers and coaches should be on deck at 5:30 pm for the team photo.

Time Trials
Parklawn Pool
Start: 8:00 AM
End: 1:00 PM (estimated)

This meet is an internal meet. Every swimmer on the team is expected to swim all events that they are legal in. Every family is expected to volunteer. Junior Piranhas and new swimmers will be evaluated by the coaches for events that they can swim at Time Trials, the team reps will notify those families.

Parents of older swimmers should volunteer for the second half of the meet to allow parents of younger swimmers, that do not swim breast, fly, or IM, to have shifts first half. Assignments such as donuts, coffee, and ice should be for families that are first year families with 8&Unders.

Please declare if your swimmer is able to swim this meet.  Coaches select/seed swimmers for this meet.  It take 60-80 swimmers to swim this meet. Entries are due by 3 pm June 13th.  If your availibility changes after declaration email the team rep ASAP at [email protected].
