Hello Piranhas!

The first week of practice is complete! We dodged a few rain showers, but spirits stayed high and the sun is back just in time for another week at Parklawn.

We have a fun week ahead, with opportunities for both swimmers and parents to connect and build team spirit.

This Friday Night: Swim & Dive Team Adult Mixer. Parents, join us in the Pergola Party Area Friday 7pm. Bring an appetizer to share and your beverage of choice. This is a great opportunity to meet and reconnect with other swim and dive parents to kick off the summer season together.

Sunday June 7: Cake Decorating Wars. Age groups will compete against one another in this season kick-off team building activity. Creativity, teamwork, and plenty of frosting are expected! All supplies are provided. Come ready for a little friendly competition and a lot of fun. See the calendar for details.

Piranha-thon. One of our favorite traditions returns June 9! Piranha-thon is both a fundraiser and a confidence-builder for our swimmers. Swimmers set goals, challenge themselves, and celebrate what they can accomplish.

Please consider supporting your swimmer with either a flat donation or a per-lap pledge. Donations are tax deductible and directly support the Piranha Power Boosters, which help fund equipment, team activities, suit subsidies, and other programs that make our season possible.

Time Trials: Sign Up Today. Time Trials are just around the corner, and the entry deadline is June 6. Please make sure your swimmer is entered and that your family has signed up for a volunteer position.

If your swimmer is swimming breaststroke or butterfly, please consider volunteering for the second half of the meet to help keep first-half positions available for newer families.
