Piranhas Weekly News - Welcome to the 2026 Season Piranhas!
Welcome to the start of our 2026 season! We’re excited to kick things off. We will send a weekly update every Sunday night to give you information for the week ahead.
Practice Begins Tuesday. Please check the practice schedule and have your swimmer there several minutes before their start time, ready to go (suit, cap, goggles on). We understand that school and other sports conflicts exist over the next few weeks - that’s not a problem.
Team Meeting. This year’s season kick-off meeting will be held during Wednesday practices this week. We will go over everything you need to know for the summer. This is highly recommended for new swimmers and optional for returning families. A recap of the meeting will be sent afterward for those who cannot attend.
Time Trials. Sign ups for Time Trials (June 13) are now open. This meet is for the whole swim team and all swimmers are expected to swim. We also need a lot of volunteers for this meet. Here are instructions on how to sign up for meets or volunteer slots.
NVSL Certification. We need parents to certify and re-certify to be NVSL referees, starters, and stroke and turn judges. NVSL University will be held this Saturday. More information is on the NVSL website. Contact: Katie McGrorey [email protected] or Brad Kinder [email protected]
Coach Kevin Sunday Morning Stroke Clinics. Coach Kevin’s clinics are back! These are for swimmers who are already legal in all four strokes and want to focus on fine-tuning their technique. Sign up from the Piranhas calendar.
2026 Season Calendar. Take a moment to add dates for the 2026 season to your calendar. It’s available here.
Looking for a sitter? We have a number of Piranhas that can watch your kids. See the attached roster.
Looking for some private coaching? Oftentimes a few private lessons can lead to developmental leaps in swimming or technique improvement. See the attached list of private coaches.
See you on the pool deck!
