Swim Updates
Calling all runners! Our friends and neighbors at Forest Hollow are hosting a fundraising 5K/Color Run May 2nd with an afterparty hosted by Port City Brewing!!!! This is another great opportunity to be part of our amazing community. Information and registration can be found: https://www.foresthollow.com/donate/
Would love to see our Piranhas out of the water for this event AND photos for our social media.
The Team Store and Swim Registration are closed. Parklawn is at a banner year with 104 families on the swim team!
Please subscribe to the calendar, It is being updated weekly with events. To celebrate our 104 families we will be having an adult social (check the calendar for details) at the start of the season.

We will be adding a new meet this season! Adding to our line up this year will be a B Meet Relay Carnival hosted by Villa Aquatic. The meet will be added to our calendar by the end of the week.
The Team Meeting will be held during practice the first week by age group (no zoom this year). We will highlight updates and changes for the season. Exact details will be sent as we get sooner to the week.
Outfitting Day is May 16th, The Piranha Boosters have generously offered to pay a $13 rebate for our team suits this year. This rebate is good for one suit per swimmer or diver and has to be purchased at outfitting day (sorry no in store purchase rebate). Please make sure to mark your calendar to come out and pick up your team store purchases and purchase a team suit. We are wearing the same suit as last year - Speedo Bolted (it was a two year suit).
Piranha-THON is June 9th! More information will be sent out in the coming weeks on this annual team building and fundraising event. The money raised supports are very own Piranha Boosters (a separate 501(c)(3) organization). The Boosters subsidize our swim caps, rebated our team suits, pay for equipment, pay for meet fees, subsidize our Friday night socials, Progressive dinner, Viking dinner, and more. Because of their generosity our families pay almost nothing beyond the registration fee for the summer. We are so lucky to have them.
Thank you for coming out for pool clean up! Thank you for your continued support of the pool. I am sure Jason Nye appreciated the help.
And Teens speaking of helping- if you want to make a difference and come up with ideas for our Friday night Socials, this is your year. We will be looking for you all to take more leadership roles on the team and this is a great way to do it (while looking impressive to colleges). See attached flier and thank you for those that already reached out.
