Congratulations Piranha-thon 2024 winners!

Dear Piranha families,

Our Piranhas did an amazing job swimming and raising money for our team. We are in awe of their stamina, their sportsmanship as well as their enthusiasm. Thanks to them and to you, the team raised more than $22,000 in pledges! This will be an amazing help in paying for our team banquet, pep rallies, and social events as well as buying new equipment for our swim practices and meets.

Together the Piranhas swam a total of 7635 laps (375 more laps than last year!). This amounts to 190,875 meters or 118.6 miles! That is almost as far as Parklawn Pool to Philadelphia in a straight line!

Congratulations to all of the winners of most laps swam, and most improved. Please note that we divided the 9-10 age group into two prizes, as some of them swam for only 30 minutes last year, and swam for 1 hour this year. The winners of most pledges & most money raised will be announced after all of the donations have come through, and payment reminders for pledges will be emailed by Friday June 21st.
