First, I want to thank Betty for tackling this event.  Thank you, coordinating can be tough and I am thankful she took it on.  Second, per Coach Carmen, we are canceling practice for Kings Dominion day so that EVERYONE can enjoy their time and not feel guilty about missing practice.

I think that there might be some updates on ticket pricing and Betty can send emails via Teamsnap to the team with more information.

Kings Dominion Trip, July 20th

We are looking forward to our team trip to Kings Dominion and Soak City! The plan is to meet at 10:45AM at the amusement park. The cost is 39.66/person and includes both amusement and water park, taxes and fees.

We will make one group reservation and ticket prices will be reimbursed directly to our team PayPal account after purchase. Tickets are non-refundable and do not include food or parking. Tickets are required for everyone age 3 and up that will be entering the gate (even non-riders).

All children must be accompanied by an adult; however, you can send your kid with another swim team family if the parents are willing to take responsibility for your child. Transportation is notprovided; Carpools encouraged. Parking/car: $30 or $40 for preferred lot - can purchase online or at gate.

We recommend bringing sunscreen, swim items for Soak City (including towel), and means for food. Food vouchers can be purchased online for some savings (see list of participating locations). You can also eat at one of the three shaded picnic areas in the parking lot.

Please note that Kings Dominion is now cashless. VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit cards and most debit cards are accepted for payment as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. The parks have multiple Cash-to-Card kiosks located throughout to allow you to convert your cash to a prepaid card with no fee. Leftover funds can be used anywhere VISA is accepted.
