Saturday June 17th, Home A meet vs Camelot (Important B meet information at the end of email)

Our first A-Meet, this Saturday June 17th, is a home meet against Camelot! Please see the attached entry sheet to see if your swimmer is swimming. We encourage all Piranhas to come and cheer.
THEME: “Surfing the Piranha Wave (Hawaiian)”
Parklawn families should park in the field at all of our home meets. Remember to treat Camelot as our welcome guests.
If your swimmer is swimming you must volunteer for the meet. If you are a volunteer (timer, marshal, etc) you must wear navy bottoms and white shirt (without a PLP logo). Please sign up: here: https://
Swimmers should arrive through the back gate near the Basketball Court at 7:50 AM and check-in with their age group coach upon arrival. Warm-ups start at 8:00 AM; the meets starts at 9:00 AM. Swimmers must arrive prior to warm-up (and warm-up with the team for both their individual event(s) and with their relay team) to participate in the meet; otherwise the swimmer will be scratched.
Swimmers should seek feedback about their races from Coach Carmen and John.
Remind swimmers: To bring water, snacks, non-electronic entertainment, extra caps, goggles, and suit (yes, suit!) in their swim bags. Ask them to not discuss winning, DQs, or anything else that would be considered unsportsmanlike.
Our Grill will be Going! Be ready to have breakfast on deck with our Zagat rated Piranha Grill with our top chefs working hard to give you the ultimate breakfast sandwich.
B meet entries are due by 3 pm on Saturday- Swimmers must select their own entries, not just availability (coaches will not add events, just ensure compliance). Swimmers who did not swim in the A meet can swim two events and IM. A meet swimmers - you cannot swim in an event you swam in the A meet. If you swam two events at the A meet, you can swim one B meet event. If you swam one event at the A meet, you can swim two B meet events. https://parklawnswimteam.swimtopia.com/swim_meets
