Attached is the meet sheet and swimmers by event list for Divisionals. No changes were made to the meet sheet since it was distributed yesterday. Divisionals is held at Stratford located at 2300 Brinitzer Way, Alexandria, VA 22308 on Saturday July 23. Because of the expected heat, Divisionals will start early at 8:00 AM (rather than the usual 8:30 AM), and the order of events is breaststroke, fly & IM (first half), free & back (second half). Parents, we still need the following positions filled for the second half: chief judge, clerk of course & assistant place recorder (table).

If your swimmer does not want to swim an event for which they were entered, please let us know ASAP tomorrow. If your swimmer's availability changes for any reason (injuries, illnesses, life happens), also let us know immediately and do not wait till Saturday AM. We do not want to have any empty lanes at Divisionals. It is an honor to swim in Divisionals, and there are other swimmers across the Division hoping for a chance to swim on Saturday.

First Half (Breaststroke, Fly & IM)

All first half swimmers must check-in by 7:20 AM. First half swimmers who do not arrive by 7:20 AM will be scratched and a substitution will be made.

Warm-Ups For Each Event:

• No general team warm-up; rather there will be a warm-ups before each event.
• Breaststroke Swimmers will warm-up at 7:30 AM.
• Butterfly Swimmers warm-up estimated no earlier than 8:30 AM
• IM Swimmers warm-up estimated no earlier than 9:30 AM
• Parklawn has Lane 2; Lane 0 and 7 are Starts Only (one direction)

Volunteers: S&T Judges & Chief Judges must arrive by 7:10 AM for Official Briefing. Marshals must arrive by 7:25 AM for briefing. Timers must arrive by 7:20 AM for briefing. All other volunteers should arrive no later than 7:30 AM.

Second Half (Free & Back)

All second-half swimmers must check-in by 9:30 AM. First half swimmers who do not arrive by 9:30 AM will be scratched and a substitution will be made.

Team Area (No. 2)

Our Team Area is in the grass (right behind the pool). Bring foldable chairs, blankets, sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, extra goggles and caps, some cards, etc. to keep your swimmer occupied between events, and cash for concessions. It will be hot; plan accordingly. Swimmers, please make sure to collect all of your belongings at the end of the meet and help clean-up the team area. Attached is the pool layout.

Misc.

• Stratford Pool will be open and serving lots of snacks and breakfast burritos. They also will switch to lunch items late morning and grill hamburgers. Usually there are better than the usual meet fare at Divisionals. Cash only.
• T-Shirt vendor accepts credit and cash. Your swimmer will want a t-shirt, hoodie, etc. It is cool to swim in Divisionals. T-Shirt vendors run out of sizes, popular styles, etc. every year. Families who order items to be shipped after Divisionals often experience difficulty in receiving their items. So get in-line ASAP and buy the swag.
• “No Earlier Than” Event Start Times. This is not warm-up, but the event start time.
