Please see attached the meet sheet for this Wednesday’s Division 11 Relay Carnival taking place on July 6 at Sideburn Run Pool. The meet starts at 6:30 PM (Arrival Time is 5:45 PM, Warm-Up is at 6 PM in Lanes 4-6). Our team area is Team Area 2 near the Pavilion at the back of the pool. A few reminders:

• This meet will proceed tonight in the rain (with appropriate delays for thunder), and all teams will be pushing to finish the meet tonight. Plan for rainy weather - bring rain wear, extra towels, cards or other things to keep kids entertained if there are weather delays, etc.
• Parents, please talk to your swimmer on the way to the RC about being good sports, not talking about a swimmer DQing & paying attention to their coaches. We will need to hustle tonight to get through the events; events will not be delayed if our Parklawn relay team did not make it to Clerk of Course on time.
• We want our swimmers to stay cool and indoors before the meet—please, please do not have your swimmer hang out at the pool or outside at camp after practice on Wednesday.
• We have the last warm-up time so spots close to the pool will be taken. You can pull into the parking lot to drop off swimmers, and then you can look for street parking. Please remember to lock your cars and do not leave any valuables in sight.
• Please bring cash to support their grill and concessions – teams host these Division meets to raise money for their team. It is considered poor sportsmanship to bring your own donuts or other treats to a meet.
• This meet’s theme is Piranha Pride. Which Piranha Relay Team will bring the Most Piranha GREEN Spirit?
• After Relay Carnival, it is a tradition that the team celebrates with ice cream! All Parklawn Piranhas are welcome to join in some tasty ice-cream treats after the meet at Parklawn Pool. We will send details on TeamSnap on Wednesday regarding time, which depends on when RC ends.
