Meet Entries for our First Home A-Meet
Let’s reach for the wall and celebrate our Seniors at our first home A-Meet on Saturday. Piranhas, let’s race against the clock. 25 personal bests means donuts for breakfast at practice next week! Attached is our meet sheet for Saturday's A-Meet.
We will send out usual Piranhas News shortly. In the meantime, please remember to arrive by 7:50 AM on Saturday if you are swimming. Warm-ups start at 8 AM, and the Meet begins at 9 AM. Please park in the field. We are asking all swimmers and parents to stay for the entire meet and stay for the Senior Presentation at the end of the meet. This is a special Piranha tradition where all the swimmers sit along the edge of the pool, and the Seniors (and their parents) dive off the diving boards!
And one parent from each family is expected to volunteer: Sign up here: Volunteer. If you have any questions, not sure how to volunteer at meets, or have any trouble with Swimtopia, please reach out to Caroline Molina or Karen Corbett.
A few quick reminders about volunteer positions:
- Parking Attendants should arrive by 7:45 AM.
- Marshal volunteers must arrive by 7:50 AM. We can’t start warm-ups without our marshals on deck.
- Timers, Stroke & Turn Judges, and Clerk of Course volunteers should arrive no later than 8:30 AM. Timers have a meeting with the Chief Timer and Stroke & Turn Judges will have a meeting with the Referee before the national anthem.
Let’s swim fast on Saturday, Piranhas
